To determine how people can reach you click on FaceTime > Preferences in the menu.

(If you don’t have an Apple ID click Create new Apple ID.) Enter your Apple ID and password and click Next.

If you aren’t already signed into FaceTime you will need to do so.

The person you are calling also needs to be signed into FaceTime and, if they are on a Mac they need to have FaceTime open.
